I believe the best family photos come from creating an experience where everyone feels comfortable enough to be themselves. While every session starts with a few of the traditional portraits you'll want hanging on your wall, the magic happens once everyone relaxes. That's why I don't rush through a shot list or expect every family to fit into the same routine. Instead, I take the time to read the room, adapt to your family's personalities, and create an experience that feels natural, fun, and completely your own.
My Values and Philosophy
I want your session to feel effortless. I want your kids to leave thinking they just had fun, your partner to admit it wasn't nearly as painful as they expected, and you to drive home excited to see your photos.
Because years from now, I don't just want you to remember the images hanging on your walls—I want you to remember how it felt to create them together.
Here is some more text about the special things we offer and why you might consider us.
Anything else you'd like to mention would go right here.
Every family is different, and so is every child. Some kids are outgoing from the moment we meet, while others need a little more time to warm up—and that's perfectly okay. I pay close attention to each person's energy and adjust my approach accordingly.
If your child is shy, I'll slow things down and earn their trust before asking too much of them. If they're full of energy, I'll embrace it instead of trying to fight it. My goal isn't to make your family fit my process; it's to shape the experience around your family so everyone feels seen, comfortable, and included.
